Symptoms
- Seen in masses on the leaves scraping the green matter results in scarring on the leaves.
- Occurrence of bore holes in a pattern as the leaf unfurls.
Management
- Collect the young larvae and destroy.
- By the preparation of food attractant by making small balls using 100g rice bran, 10g jaggery and a little granular insecticide for attract and kill the hiding larvae of Spodoptera.
