Caterpillars (Helicoverpa armigera)

Symptoms

• Create irregular holes on leaves and flowers.
• Slows the growth and in some times completely kills young plants.

Management

• Remove larvae seen on the leaf.
• Remove and destroy infected leaves.
• Spray Bacillus thuringiensis formulations to kill the larvae.
• Spray neem garlic emulsion (20 ml neem oil + 20 gram garlic paste + 5 gram bar soap/litre of water).
