Symptoms
- Yellowish mottling of the leaves.
- Leaves shrivel and turn brown.
- Web spun on the undersurface of leaves.
- Eggs are laid on the ventral surface of the leaves and are whitish, spherical in shape.
Management
- Spray castor oil-soap emulsion or neem oil- garlic emulsion (20 ml neem/caster oil +20 gram garlic paste + 5 gram soap / litre of water).
- Field release of predatory mite - Phytoseiulus persimilis @ 6 no/ metre square.
