Leaf crinkle virus(C.O.: Leaf crinkle virus)
Symptoms
- Chlorosis around some lateral veins and its branches near the margins.
- Leaves show curling of margin downwards.
- Some of the leaves show twisting.
- Veins show reddish brown discolouration on the under surface.
Management
- Grow resistant varieties.
- Place yellow sticky traps (12 no/ ha).
- Rogue out the infected plants up to 45 days.
- Foliar spray of neem formulations (3 ml/ litre of water) at 30 days after sowing
Chemical Control
- Spray Dimethoate 30 EC (2 ml / litre of water) against the vector.
