Symptoms
- Nymphs and adult insects suck sap from underneath leaves.
- If the infestation is severe, it causes leaves to fall off early, sooty mold to grow, buds and bolls to drop, and poor boll opening.
Management
- Spray Neem oil (20 ml/litre of water).
- Spray Lecanicillium lecanii (synonym Verticillium lecanii) (20 gram/litre of water).
