Symptoms
- Irregular light and dark green or yellow patches or streaks on the leaf and floral parts.
- Initial symptoms appear in funnel leaves as small sparse chlorotic specks.
- Later the specks coalesce leading to short streaks.
- Yellowing of plants in severe infection.
- Failure of earhead emergence with sparse grains is noticed during initial and late infection.
