Symptoms
- Larvae feed on leaves.
- Small caterpillars feed on the underside of the leaf.
- Attacks are usually seen at night.
Management
- Find and destroy their eggs and infested leaves.
- Moths can be caught by placing light traps
- A good ploughing of the soil in summer helps flush out the hidden worms.
- Neem oil and garlic mixture can be sprayed on the plants (mix 20 ml neem oil +20g garlic powder +5 g bar soap in one litre of water).
