Symptoms

  • This disease occurs in the nursery. It is recognized by regular or irregular brown to black leaf blotches surrounded by yellow halos, which develop along the margin, centre or tip of the leaves.
  • It causes heavy seedling loss

Management

  • Collection and destruction of infected shoots

Chemical Control

  • Spray Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC (3.0 ml/litre of water) or Flubendiamide 20 WG (5 gram/10 litre of water) or Spinosad 45 SC (3.3 ml/ 10 litre of water) or Indoxacarb 14.5 SC (8 ml/ 10 litre of water).
