Dry Root Rot(C.O.: Rhizoctonia bataticola)
Symptoms
- Infected plants suddenly wilts and dies
- Bark of root and basal stem becomes fibrous
- The disease appears in patches and become severe during dry periods
Management
- Seed treatment with Trichoderma viride @4g/kg of seed or carbendazim 1g/kg of seed or Psuedomonas fluorescens @ 10g/kg of seed or neem cake soil application @20 kg/ha
- Drenching (2g/litre) with carbendazim at 15 DAS and spraying (2g/litre) at 30 DAS.
