Symptoms

  • Green insects found on the under surface of leaves
  • Feed on tender leaves and other parts of the plant by sucking the plant sap
  • Leaves become brittle and dry
  • Characteristics hopper burn

Management

  • Spray Lecanicillium lecanii (synonym Verticillium lecanii) (20 gram/litre of water). Spray neem garlic emulsion (20 ml neem oil + 20 gram garlic paste + 5 gram bar soap/litre of water).
