Symptoms
- Most serious pest
- Mainly seen in younger plantations & nursery
- Larvae feed on tender & slightly mature leaves
- In severe case, entire plant is defoliated
Management
- Pest can be kept under check by collecting the butterflies with the help of net and destroying them
- Spray Beauveria bassiana – 20 g/litre of water.
