Symptoms
- Most serious problem affecting coleus.
- Infected plants develop galls, become stunted and show yellowing and drooping.
- Root growth is suppressed. Galls are very big and pronounced.
Management
- Soil solarization
- Adopt crop rotation with sweet potato
- Deep plough the field in summer
- Destroy root residues and other plant parts by burning
- Plant marigold along the borders of the field
- Apply neem cake 200 gm/hectare into soil
- Paecilomyces lilacinus (20g/l) in the soil
