Symptoms
- Dark sunken spots observed on leaves, stems, and other parts of the plant.
- The first signs usually appear as small brown spots with a yellow halo at the tips of lower leaves.
- These spots grow larger and turn black, causing affected leaves to wither.
- Stems can also be infected, either at the top or near the base.
- This disease tends to be more severe during the rainy season.
Management
- Remove and destroy infected crop debris.
