Mealy Bug (Coccidohystrix insolitus)

Symptoms

• Numerous mealy bugs can be seen on all the tender parts and fruits
• Infest leaves, tender shoots and fruits.
• Leaves turn yellow and crinkle resulting in the drying of leaves.
• Infestation on flower blooms affect fruit set
• Fruits become dried and shriveled

Management

• Spray neem oil garlic emulsion (20ml neem oil+ 20 g garlic paste + 5g bar soap /one shampoo sachet /l of water)
• Spray Lecanicillium lecanii @ 20g/l
