Leaf crinkle virus(C.O.: Leaf crinkle virus)

Symptoms

  • Chlorosis around some lateral veins and its branches near the margins.
  • Leaves show curling of margin downwards.
  • Some of the leaves show twisting.
  • Veins show reddish brown discolouration on the under surface.

Management

  • Grow resistant varieties.
  • Place yellow sticky traps (12 no/ ha).
  • Rogue out the infected plants up to 45 days.
  • Foliar spray of neem formulations (3 ml/ litre of water) at 30 days after sowing
