Wild Jack or Aini (Artocarpus hirsutus)

Ideally suited for boundary planting and as scattered trees on the farm field. Performance under monocultural situations is not promising. Seeds or wildings (scattered seedlings found profusely on the farm fields) can be collected during the monsoon season and planted at the desired spots in the field. On farm boundaries, closer plant-to-plant spacing (1 m) can be adopted.
