Land preparation

• Prepare land by ploughing one or two times, removing weeds and levelling

planting

• Both seeds and slips can be used
• A seed rate of 2-5kg/ha is recommended
• For sowing, a fine seed bed is required and seeds are broadcasted at 1-2cm depth
