Harvesting

• Crop is ready for harvest when it reaches 1.5 m height
• Cuttings at 15-20 cm above the ground level is advised
• First cut is taken at 9-10 weeks after planting and subsequent cuts at 45-60 days interval
• About 6-10 harvest can be made in a year
• Approximately 80-100 t/ha green fodder yield/year
