• Cattle manure or compost – 40 t/ha
• Lime 1-1.5 t/ha

Fertilizer dosage

• N:P₂O₅:K₂O- 30:30:60 kg/ha
  Method of application
  • Basal dose:
    • Full dose of P₂O₅ (30 kg/ha)
    • Half dose of K₂O (30 kg/ha)
  • 30 days after planting
    • Two third dose of N (20 kg/ha)
  • 60 days after planting
    • One third dose of N (10 kg/ha)
    • Half dose of K₂O (30 kg/ha)
  Note:
• Apply 20 t FYM + 2 t Neem cake + 1 t Ash + 4 t vermicompost/ha.
• Use Azospirillum and P- Solubilising bacteria (20 g/ bed 3X1 m) as nutrient supplement.
