Symptoms
- The caterpillar webs the leaves with silken threads and feed within.
- Webbed leaves become devoid of chlorophyll and dry up.
- Greenish larva with white lines and black crescents on thorax is seen.
Management
- Collect and destroy affected plant parts along with caterpillars.
- Set up light trap (1 trap/ha) to attract and kill the adults.
- Spray neem garlic emulsion (20 ml neem oil+ 20 gram garlic paste+ 5 gram bar soap/litre of water).
