Leaf hopper(C.O: Empoasca kerri, E. binotata, E.flavescens)

Symptoms

• Green insects found on the under surface of leaves
• Feed on tender leaves and other parts of the plant by sucking the plant sap
• Leaves become brittle and dry
• Characteristics hopper burn

Management

• Spray Lecanicillium lecanii (synonym Verticillium lecanii ) (20 g/litre of water). Spray neem garlic emulsion (20 ml neem oil + 20 gram garlic paste + 5 gram bar soap/litre of water).
