Symptoms
- Young larvae feed on the undersurface of the leaves for two days, later rolls the leaf in the form of trumpets and remains inside.
- More than one larva can be seen inside the roll.
- In severe cases, defoliation occurs.
- Larvae glistening green with dark head.
Management
- Collect and destroy rolled leaves.
- Avoid over use of nitrogen fertilizers.
- Spray of NSKE @ 4.0 per cent
