Bacterial root rot(Erwinia rhapontici)

Symptoms

• Symptoms appear as rotting of pith tissues resulting in cavity formation and wilting of plants.

Management

• The disease spreads through implements and irrigation water.
• Treat the seeds in a solution of Agrimycin-100 (1 gram/ 10 litre of water) at the time of sowing.
