Mealy bug (Ferrisia virgata)

Symptoms

• Presence of white, cottony mealy bugs on the leaves and twigs, stunted growth.
• Females apterous, long, slender covered with white waxy secretion.
• Leaves of the infected plants become stunted
• Yellowing & curling of leaves are seen

Management

• Spray neem oil garlic emulsion 2%
• Spray Lecanicillium lecanii @ 20g/l and repeat the application at 15 days interval
