Harvesting

• First cut taken at 5-6 months and subsequent cutting after 50-60 days
• Average wood yield of 20-25 m³ per ha is commonly achieved
• Fodder can be harvested for 3-4 years yielding up to about 2 kg dry matter per harvest per tree
• Under irrigated conditions, it gives 60t/ha of green fodder yield and rainfed conditions 25 t/ha
