Harvesting

• First harvest is taken 3-4 months after sowing
• Subsequent harvest at 45 days interval or according to the growth of the crop
• A maximum of 4-5 harvest can be taken in a year for a perennial crop, which will remain in the field for 3 years
• The crop yields 25-30t/ha green fodder per year
