Burrowing nematode(Radopholus similis)

Symptoms

• Necrotic lesions develop on white feeder roots
• Roots damage leads to poor growth,foliar yellowing,interveinal chlorosis of leaves.
• Vines wilt during summer season.

Management

• Use nematode free rooted cuttings.
• Apply neem cake @ 1 kg/vine.
• Application of Bacillus macreans or B.circulans (10gm/vine/litre of water) prior to planting of vines
