  • Effect of High Temperature: Results in yellowish, leafy curds.

Soil

  • Well drained soil with open sunlight is ideal for growth of the crop
  • Well-drained sandy loam to clay loam soils rich in organic matter
  • Optimum Soil pH: 5.5-6.5.
