Symptoms

• Numerous narrow linear short brown spots are formed on the leaves.
• Although this disease can affect any stage of rice plant growth, it is usually more common in the late stages.
• As the name suggests, the disease symptoms are brown, narrow streaks about 2 to 10 mm long.
• The disease can be transmitted through seeds and air.
