ലക്ഷണങ്ങള്‍

രോഗത്തിന്‍റെ ആദ്യ ഘട്ടത്തില്‍ ഇലകള്‍ മഞ്ഞളിച്ച് ചെടിയുടെ വളര്‍ച്ച മുരടിക്കുന്നു. തുടര്‍ന്ന്‍ ഇലകളുടെ അറ്റത്തു നിന്നും പിറകിലേക്ക് ഉണങ്ങുന്നു.
ആദ്യ ഘട്ടത്തില്‍ വേരുകള്‍ പിങ്ക് നിറത്തില്‍ കാണുകയും തുടര്‍ന്ന്‍ അവ അഴുകി നശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
രോഗം രൂക്ഷമായ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ഉള്ളിയുടെ അടിയില്‍ നിന്നും അഴുകി ചെടി പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായും നശിക്കുന്നു.

നിയന്ത്രണമാര്‍ഗ്ഗങ്ങള്‍

250 ഗേജ് കട്ടിയുള്ള പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്ക് ഷീറ്റ് 30 ദിവസത്തേക്ക് മണ്ണില്‍ വിരിച്ച് സൂര്യതാപീകരണം ചെയ്യുന്നത് മണ്ണിനെ അണുവിമുക്തമാക്കാന്‍ സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
ഉള്ളിയുടെ വിഭാത്തില്‍ പെടാത്ത വിളകളുമായി 4-5 വര്‍ഷത്തേക്ക് വിള പരിചക്രമണം നടത്തുക.
പുകയില, മണിച്ചോളം എന്നിവയെ ചേര്‍ത്ത് സമ്മിശ്ര കൃഷി രീതി അവലംബിക്കുക.
കൃത്യമായ നീര്‍വാര്‍ച്ച സൗകര്യം ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുക.

കൃഷി ചെയ്യാത്ത സമയങ്ങളില്‍ മണ്ണില്‍ വെള്ളം കെട്ടി നിര്‍ത്തുന്നത് രോഗത്തെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കാന്‍ സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
രോഗ പ്രതിരോധ ശേഷിയുള്ള ഇനങ്ങള്‍ കൃഷിചെയ്യുക.
നടീലിനു മുമ്പായി 1 കി.ഗ്രാം വിത്ത്‌ 20 ഗ്രാം ട്രൈക്കോഡെര്‍മ വിറിഡെ/ സ്യൂഡോമോണസ് ഫ്ലൂറസൻസ് എന്ന മിത്ര കുമിള്‍ ഒരു ലിറ്റര്‍ വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ചേര്‍ത്ത് തയ്യാറാക്കിയ ലായിനിയില്‍ മുക്കി പരിചരണം നടത്തുക.
